Capacity strengthening of fish farmers for improving their livelihood in Mymensingh district of Bangladesh

This study examines the capacity strengthening status for improving livelihood of fish farmers Muktagacha upazila (sub-district) Bangladesh. A mix method research design was used to collect data from 70 area. Nine selected demographic characteristics respondents were age, level education, household size, farm farming experience, training received on farming, access credit, extension media contact and organizational participation. Findings reveal that half (50%) had moderate score while considerable portion (36%) high score. The improved a great extent in five aspects (human, social, natural, physical financial) due creation income generating opportunities after their involvement farming. concludes has major contributions status.
